Assistant Central Intelligence Officer exam is conducted by the Intelligence bureau.It is India’s Internal intelligence agency and reputedly the world’s oldest intelligence agency.

Intelligence Bureau was recast as the Central Intelligence Bureau in 1947 under the Ministry f Home Affairs.Yes this post is of Permanent.And the equivalent posts are given below for you ----

Assistant Director Equivalent to ( == ) Superintendent of Police
Deputy Central Intelligence Officer == Additional superintendent of Police
Assistant Central Intelligence Officer Grade I == Assistant / Deputy Superintendent of Police
Assistant Central Intelligence Officer Grade II == Inspector of Police

There will be a written test conducted for the recruitment of Assistant Central Intelligence Officers posts under the Ministry of Defence.

The candidates should be Graduate from the recognized University/Institution.You should know about the knowledge of computers.
