I want to be a constable in Chandigarh police. So i want to know what physical standards are required for the post?

Physical Standards Required for Chandigarh Police Constable Post:

Height Required:
>> 170 cms for Male Candidates
>> 157.5 cms for Female Candidates

Chest Required: (in Cms) (Unexpanded-Expanded)

>> For Male: 84-88 cms
>> For Female : Not Applicable
>> For Male Residents of Notified Hill Areas by 5 cms: 79-83 cms
>> For Female Residents of Notified Hill Areas by 5 cms: Not Applicable
>> For Male Wards of Police Personnel (WPP) by 5 cms: 79-83 cms
>> For Female Wards of Police Personnel (WPP) by 5 cms: Not Applicable

The height required is 170 cms and chest 84-88 cms for male candidates. The educational qualification required to become constable is 12th standard pass or equivalent. For physical endurance and measurement test you can check the details in the attachment given below.

(male) 1600 meter 375 seconds 18-30 years
(female) 800 meter 255 seconds 18-30 years

Height:
male 170 cm
Female 157.5 cm

chest:
male 84-88 cm
Female N/A

Long jump
Male 3.95 meter (18-30 years)
Female 2.74 meter(18-30 years)

High jump
Male 1.14 meter(18-30 years)
Female 0.9 meter(18-30 years)
