What is the qualification criteria required for SSC CGL? Is there any additional qualification required for promotion?
Respected Sir, I want to apply for SSC CGL so I want to know what is the qualification criteria required for SSC CGL? Is there any additional qualification required for promotion? If yes then please tell me about it.

SSC CGL stands for Staff Selection Commission Combined Graduate Level examination. The eligibility criteria for this examination:
1. Graduation from a recognised university. Final year graduation candidates can also apply for examination. 2. The age limit for exam is 18-27 years. Upper age relaxation applicable to candidates of reserved category. There is no special qualification required for promotion. |

Educational Qualification Required for SSC CGL:
The basic educational qualification required for SSC CGL Recruitment examination is "Graduate Degree" or a Bachelor Degree from a recognized university. If you have completed Graduate Degree, then I am sure you will be eligible to apply for SSC CGL Recruitment Examination. You will be getting promotion based on the experience you attain after joining in the concerned department through SSC CGL Examination. The basic criteria required is "Bachelor Degree" from a recognized university for almost all the posts. The minimum required age is 21 years and the maximum age must not exceed 30 years and there will be an age relaxation for reserved category candidates as per government norms. |

CGL stands for Combined Graduate Level examination and the examination is conducted by SSC every year.
The eligibility to appear for examination is :- Candidate must have passed bachelor degree from a recognised university. Candidate's age must be between 21 - 30 years with relaxation in age limit for reserved category effective from 2017. So, candidates with above qualification will be eligible to appear for examination for recruitment as an officer on different post. For more information about examination visit at www.ssc.nic.in. |
