Profile:
Department of Industrial Policy & Promotion was established in the year 1995 under the Government of India. After the merger of Department of Industrial Development, it was reconstituted in the year 2000. The major function of the department is to formulate and implement the industrial policy and stratigies for indutrial development in conformity. The department has the objective of formulating the foreign direct investment policy and promotion of FDI.
Job Profile:
Candidates are invited to apply for the posts of Examiner of Patents and Designs in Department of Industrial Policy & Promotion.
Eligibility:
Candidates should not be more than 35 years of age as on closing date of the application.
Educational Qualification:
Candidates should have done Master’s degree in Physics/Chemistry/Biotechnology etc from any recognized institute or university.
No. of posts: Total 257 posts are available. (Gen-120, SC-39, ST-19 and OBC-79)
Pay Scale: Selected candidates will get the prescribed amount of salary i.e. Rs. 15600-39100 + Grade Pay of Rs. 5400.
Selection Process:
A written examination followed by a personal interview test are the selection criteria set for the above specified posts in Department of Industrial Policy & Promotion.
