Society for Promotion of IT in Chandigarh was established under the Government of India. The society comes under the aegis of the Department of Information Technology, Chandigarh. The society was incorporated with the aim of promoting IT industry in Chandigarh. The society also aims to promote software exports and also generate jobs in Information Technology. The strength of the society is comprises of one Chairperson, Chief Executive Officer, Additional CEo and five other members. The society has set up a centre of excellence at Punjab Engineering College, Chandigarh, in collaboration with Microsoft.

Job Profile:

Candidates are invited to apply for the following vacant posts of Project Coordinator, Database Developer, UI Developer, Software Engineer cum Programmer, Network Administrator, Hardware/Software Engineer and Data Entry Operator in Society for Promotion of IT in Chandigarh.
