Re: Am I eligible to appear in JEE Main & Advanced if applied but didn't appear in this year?
Yes, you are eligible to appear in JEE Main and Advanced examination once again even if you have applied and not appeared in examination this year. The maximum number of attempts allowed to appear in JEE Main examination is three times that too in three consecutive years and the maximum number of attempts allowed to appear in JEE Advanced examination is two times that too in two consecutive years after completion of your 12th standard from a recognised board. Since, you have not appeared in your 12th standard board examinations, you have three more chances to appear in JEE Main examination and two chances to appear in JEE Advanced examination.

Re: Am I eligible to appear in JEE Main & Advanced if applied but didn't appear in this year?
yes,you are eligible to appear for JEE mains examination.
JEE mains examination will be conducted for the students who have completed their 12 th in PCM from the recognized university. the number of attempts for the JEE exam is 3 times.there is no age limit for this exam. As you did not appear the exam for the first your attempt one is failed and you have only 2 attempts to crack the examination. JEE exam is conducted only once every year.so,prepare well for the exam. if you qualify in the JEE mains then you get eligibility for the JEE advanced exam. so,try hard and get seat in IIT or NIT. |

Yes, there is a maximum limit for the number of attempts for a candidate willing to appear in the JEE.
The maximum number of attempts is 3 on 3 consecutive years including the 12th appearing year. You first have to clear all the subjects of 12th successfully then only you will be eligible to get the admission through JEE. Since you have not appeared this year but still you can appear in the next year's JEE. |
