No,you can't do B.ed. course with 40% marks in Graduation degree .
B.Ed stands for Bachelor's of Education. Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) is an undergraduate academic degree which qualifies the graduate as a teacher in schools. The qualification required for B.Ed. course is Graduation or Post Graduation degree with 50% marks in any stream from a recognized University. The candidate should have two years’ full time teaching experience on temporary/permanent basis as Primary/Graduate/Post Graduate teacher in a primary, secondary/higher/senior secondary school with registration number recognised by the respective Directorate of Education or Central or State Government or Union Territory. There is no restriction on upper age limit and time of attempts for pursuing this degree. The minimum duration for this programme is 2 years and maximum duration is 4 years. |

Yes, after completing the graduation you can apply for B.Ed entrance exam and now b.ed stands for bachelor of education and this entrance exam is compulsory for who are interested to work in schools as a teacher posts.
You must complete Graduation in any discipline from a recognized University. Your aggregate in Graduation must not be less than 50% . You must be a Graduate in 10+2+3 pattern i.e no academic year lost during your education tenure. There must be no active back subjects in Graduation and also in your previous academic career. |
