Syllabus of examination:

Paper 1 is based on “Bhashavigyan and shahityatatya”. It has four modules. This paper is based on the Bengali language, the grammar associated with it and the correct usage of it.

Time Duration

Total time duration for paper 2 is 4 hours which is sufficient for a candidate to finish his/her exam.

Divisions In Paper And Paper Patter:

Although 100 is the full mark for this paper, but the score that you get is boiled down to 80% and the remaining weightage i.e. 20% is given to marks obtained in class assignments and overall class performance. Bengali Paper 2 is divided into 3 sections. The first of the three sections contain 4 questions and out of these 2 must be attempted, which you need to answer in about 350 words; and each one of them carries 18 marks. The penultimate section carries a total of thirty-six marks wherein you need to answer 3 out of 5 questions and they should not exceed 200 words limit. Last section contains 5 questions but the examinee is required to answer only 4, each of which carries 7 marks. These 4 questions should not exceed a maximum of 150 words.
