Eligibility to study MBBS/BDS in Kerala for a candidate who has scored 186 marks and secured 26000 state rank in NEET?


Hi,
I have got 186 marks in NEET. My Kerala state rank is 26000. I belong to OEC category. Am I eligible to get MBBS/BDS admission in Kerala? Please tell me about this.

With a rank of 26000, it will be very difficult to get admission in a top medical/dental college for MBBS/BDS programme. You can expect admission in a low ranked private college only with this rank.

Most of the seats are filled with very high donation these days. So, it will be quite difficult to get admission with this rank.

Your rank would be helpful if it were a national level rank. But after getting 26000 rank in state level seems difficult to get one of top Govt college.
You may take admission in private college, if your family background is strong.
If you don't have financial support and you think that you can do it then take one year for preparing at home or Kota.
In this way you will able to get good rank and secure a seat in NEET but in this way you will loose your one year.

I belongs to haryana and I got 373 marks in Neet 2018 exam. I got admission this year or not
