Hi friends, I want to secure admission in BTech(Mechanical Engineering) in Jalpaiguri Government Engineering College? So, I want to know about the entrance exam through which I can get admission. Thank you!

If you want to secure admission in BTech(Mechanical Engineering) in Jalpaiguri Government Engineering College, you need to appear and qualify the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations (WBJEE). Candidates are admitted based on rank obtained in West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations (WBJEE) followed by counselling. Candidates who have passed 12th class in Science stream with Physics, Mathematics as main subjects with minimum 60% of marks from a recognized board are eligible to attend West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations (WBJEE). Candidates who have qualified JEE Mains are also eligible to pursue BTech(Mechanical Engineering) in Jalpaiguri Government Engineering College. They are exempted from WBJEE.
