Which entrance exam I have to appear for to secure BTech(Metallurgical Engineering) admission in IIT Madras? Cutoff rank required to secure admission?
Hi friends, I want to study BTech(Metallurgical Engineering) course in IIT Madras. I want to know about the entrance exam through which I can get admission in this institute for studying this course? Kindly tell me about the cutoff rank for getting admission.

You have to appear and crack JEE Main exam than you will be eligible for JEE Advance.
Admission will be done the basis of JEE Advance score. Cutoff rank through JEE Advance 2019 For different categories can be seen below. Yes, Entrance examination is available to study BTech in Metallurgical Engineering admission at IIT Madras. Admission selection will be on the basis of the score obtained in JEE Main and JEE Advanced followed by counseling(JoSAA). The cutoff marks depend on the number of candidates appearing for the test.
The educational qualification required is a candidate must have passed 10+2 with a minimum score of 75% marks in aggregate from a recognized board. I am also giving you the institute website link for your reference that is www.iitm.ac.in |
