Is Food Process Engineering offered in BTech program?


Hello everyone, I have applied for various Engineering entrance exams. I want to study BTech. But I want to know that Food Process Engineering is available to study in BTech or not? I want to do BTech in Food Process stream. So, is this stream available in Graduation?

Yes, Food Process Engineering offered in BTech program. BTech (Food Process Engineering) is a 4 year undergraduate course which is divided into 8 semesters. Candidates who has passed 10+2 with minimum 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM) are eligible to pursue this course.

Colleges offering BTech (Food Process Engineering) are;

Karunya University, Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu

National Dairy Research Institute, Karnal, Haryana

SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Chennai

Anand Agricultural University, Anand, Gujarat

University of Agricultural Sciences, Dharwad, Karnataka

G.B. Pant University of Agriculture and Technology, Pantnagar, Uttarakhand

Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, West Bengal
