Quote:
The aspirant can take a BA Journalism or BA Mass Communication or BA (Hons) Journalism or B.Sc Mass Communication and Journalism or Bachelor of Journalism. The aspirant can choose any one of the course given above. The courses are available in various institutions in India. Apart from studies you should have very good interpersonal skills. You should know the current affairs and should study many newspapers without fail. A good journalist should check the facts before reporting and he should not manipulate the news. You should act always truthfully. |

Re: Which graduation course can I take to become a journalist ?
In order to become a journalist, after completion of 12th standard you may apply for the following courses which are:
> B.sc in Sports Journalism. > B.A in Professional Journalism. > B.A in Investigative Journalism. > B.sc in Trade Journalism. > B.A in Innovation Journalism. > B.sc in Fashion Journalism. B.A in Journalism is Bachelor degree, the course duration is 3 years and is divided into six semesters. If you are interested to apply for this course then you should complete your 12th standard in any stream from a recognized university. Minimum 55% marks should be scored in 12th board examination. Admission in Journalism strictly depends on the percentage of marks secured in the entrance examination. So if you score good marks in the entrance examination then you may get admission in any reputed college to pursue Journalism course. The institution which provides Journalism course may also conduct separate entrance examination. Therefore you will have to sit for an entrance examination and after having cleared it successfully, you may be called for an interview. |
