Indira Gandhi National Open University is not approved by AICTE but IGNOU degree is valid for all jobs.

Indria Gandhi National Open University is not approved by AICTE (All India Council for Techanical Education).
You can't pursue engineering through distance mode because any technical program (except MBA/MCA) offered by Indria Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) or any other university through distance mode is not approved by the AICTE and hence the technical degree from a university without approved by AICTE is invalid.
