There is no specific percentage required in graduation to get a job.

To get a job the minimum required eligibility criteria is candidate must have passed graduation from any recognised university with no backlog and have at least passing percentage.

So, you can appear for various entrance examination conducted for recruitment of candidates in different jobs. Some of available options are :-

To get a job in the present society, the minimum educational qualification required is completion of Graduation course in any discipline from a recognised university. To get a good job in top companies, you must have at least 70% aggregate marks in your Graduation course and the average level companies ask for minimum of 55% or 60% aggregate marks in your Graduation course for offering a job. The minimum aggregate required is 50% marks in Graduation course to get any job in low level companies.

In case of government jobs percentage is not the criteria for selection. You have to perform well in the written exam and interview for selection. You should have at least 50% marks in graduation to become eligible for most of the government jobs.

In private jobs selection will be based on interview, CV and reference. Normally, 60% in overall academic career is considered good for a private job in top MNC but performance in interview is also crucial.

For most of the government jobs there is no minimum percentage required like in Police department, SBI PO and clerk, IBPS PO and clerk, UPSC and SSB jobs.

In some government jobs candidate must have secured more than 50% marks in graduation like SI in schools, RRB jobs.

If candidate want to do job in some reputed private firms, he/she must have secured more than 60% marks in graduation.

It depends upon the job you select to apply for. Most of the reputed companies require at least 60% of marks in Graduation. Apart from the educational qualification they can also measure Technical skill and Communication skill as well. So, please score more than 60% of marks at Graduation. The selection will be based on Written exam, Technical Skill and Interview.

60% aggregate is sufficient to apply for govt exams but in IT sectors this criteria changes depending on their requirements of employees and also on the basis of job and college and for most of the IT companies it is not more than 65%

There is no specific percentage required in graduation to get selected for a job but the percentage of interviewees in his graduation performs a key role in getting selected for government jobs and private companies. Applicants passing their graduation from any registered university or institute with passing marks makes them eligible for minimum required criteria, but every company and job sector has its own eligibility and criteria such as getting a good job in top companies require minimum 70% marks in graduation, average companies ask for at least 60% or sometimes 55% as well, and low level companies ask for minimum 50% marks in graduation. Some demand good knowledge about computers, current affairs, new technologies and good communication skills along with graduation percentage as well.
