I have just completed my 12th. Now i want to do graduation in Arts. So what is the criteria for doing this?

To be eligible to pursue Graduation in Arts, you must have completed 12th standard in any discipline from a recognised university. You can get direct admission in B.A course as there is no entrance examination conducted for providing admission to B.A course. Only some top colleges/universities conducts entrance examinations for providing admissions to B.A course. Since, you have completed your 12th standard from a recognised board, you are eligible to pursue B.A course.

Yes, of course you are eligible to apply for Graduation in Arts after completing 12th standard. However, the minimum marks needed for Graduation in Arts may differs from college to college based on various. If you scored 50% of marks at 12th standard then it is possible for you to get admission and relaxation is also applicable for those candidates who are belong from reserved category.

Eligibility Criteria:

- The common eligibility Criteria for pursuing the Graduation in Arts is Intermediate or equivalent qualification with not less than 50% of marks from a recognized university. There is no restriction on the stream in the 12th standard.

- The candidate with science, commerce or arts background can apply for the Graduation in Arts. The candidates age must be 17 years of age or more.

Those candidates who have completed 12th standard in arts stream are eligible for graduation in arts.

Your age should be above 16 years.

There is nothing much to worry about it, you just need to first select the colleges you are interested to study in(provided they should offer B.Sc course) and then after the completion of your boards, do look for the dates when the college starts to provide admission to candidates.

You can then apply for admission in the prospective colleges for admission on your pre-final marks or on your board results(if results are declared). In most of the colleges admission process starts after the announcement of the results.

Therefore you just need to follow the simple steps provided to you by the prospective college authorities at the time of admission.
