Re: What is IES exam used for iam eee student
IES stands for the Indian Engineering Services.
This exam is conducted by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC). The departments of Central Government and State Governments required highly qualified engineers to facilitate the governments to carry out their activities and projects. UPSC recruits those highly qualified engineers through the IES exam. You become eligible for the IES exam after you complete the engineering. You can prepare well and appear in the examination. If you clear the same, you will get a very highly paying and prestigious job in the Central Government as an Engineer. GATE is not required for the IES. It is an altogether different thing. |
