Bachelor of pharmacy course is equivalent to bachelor of science in chemistry course? I am still confused that whether bachelor of pharmacy course is equivalent to bachelor of science in chemistry course?

Bachelor of Pharmacy and Bachelor of Chemistry are totally different courses. So i think they both are not equal. One course is for pharmaceutical field and other is related to purely chemistry.

If we take it as graduation course then surely they both are considered as a Graduation Degree. So, if you want to apply where they are asking for Graduate in any discipline then these both courses will be considered as they both are Degree courses.

Bachelor of Pharmacy is a 4 years course and Bachelor of Chemistry is a 3 years course. Also B.Pharma is a professional degree and Bachelor of Chemistry is only a simple graduation course.

There are many subjects which are common between these two courses but that doesn't mean they are equal. One is specially made for pharmaceutical field only and other is a pure chemistry branch which is the core subject dealing with only chemistry not pharmaceuticals.

Bachelor of Pharmacy and Bachelor of Chemistry are two different fields and contain different subjects.

So, studies wise they both are not equal but if we see the norms of UGC which say if a candidate has completed the education under the scheme of 10+2+3 at least then both of them are equivalent.
