i passed 10th with 9.2 c.g.p.a. i choose science with maths,now i am confused about my Currier.i want to do NDA-NASA for a job of 1 Lakh salary.otherwise i will do law.can you tell me what to do......pls tell me other options also.

Science stream is one of the stream which is having scope in each and every field. But here you ahve ti decide your career side. You ahve two option either go for Medical related courses or either go for Non Medical related courses.

hello friend!!

there are a lot of courses available after class XII exams.since you are having PCB in your Class XII exams hence the choices you have are in medical and engineering field.

main courses for you are in medical and engineering field. you can give entrances for engineering,medical and other courses also.

Eligibility for Entrance exams

--one can apply for entrances for medical in case having subjects like PCB Or PCBM.

--atleast 60% for entrances,for different colleges it might vary..

--for candidates of medical field to apply in Engineering one requires a combination of PCM Or PCBM .

hence you can apply for both engineering and medical entrances.

There are many options available for you. THere are a number of medical courses like

Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of surgery
Bachelor of Dental Surgery
Bachelor of Veterinary Science
Bachelor of Homeopathic Medicine

You will have to given entrance exams like AFMC, AIIMS entrance exam and most important being AIPMT for MBBS , BDS and other courses. So you will have to start preparation accordingly.

If you are not interested in medical line then you can do BSc. in many courses like

Zoology - It is concerned with the study of animal structure and functioning, origin, evolution etc.

Botany-It is concerned with various processes of plant life, their structure etc.

Anthropology - It is the study of past and present of Humans , their origin, etc. both in biological terms and socio-cultural terms

Biotechnology - It is concerned with the use of living organisms and bioprocesses for industrial and other purposes. you can also do Btech in Biotechnology but for this Mathematics is also required along with Biology at the 10+2 level

Microbiology - It is concerned with the study of microorganisms detail, their classification, their functioning etc. It is one of the most popular course for PCB students these days who do not wish to go in medical line.

Life science - In this branch you will have to study about many topics under biology from insects to micro organism

Some other courses are

B.pharm - It will and you in a pharmaceutical company and it will make you eligible for registration as a pharmacist. You can also do D.pharm (Doctor of Pharmacy)

Bioinformatics - Those students who have computer subjects like IP and computer science as additional subject along with PCB in class 12 can do this course. It involves the application of computers for managing biological information. It is also very popular these days.

Food Tech - This may require mathematics also at the 10+2 level. It is concerned with the various physical, chemical and biological processes involved during the conversion of raw materials and food products.

For Biotechnolog, Bioinformatics, Biomedical Science and B.pharm you will have to give entrance exams
But for zoology, botany, anthropology, microbiology, life science , earth science you can get direct admission in prestigious universities like Delhi universities on the basis of your 12th percentage.

how is B.sc with botany,physics and chemistry?

You can join MEDICAL or ENGINEERING after completing your 12th class .best among two is to choose MEDICAL because you have opted biology in your 11th class.

You have many options if you have completed your 10+2 with physics , chemistry and Biology.

You can go for medical entrance exam if you wish to become a doctor. You have to clear the entrance exam with good rank to get a good college . The entrance exam for which you can apply are CBSE PMT, AIIMS, AFMC, JIPMER ,CPMT etc . Thiese entrance are conducted for admission into MBBS, BDS , BHMS ,BAMS and BUMS .

You can also go for Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Zoology , Botany, Pharmacy , Optometry, Microbiology, Dairy Science, Anthropology, Forensic Science, Food Science etc.

There are many subjects that you can study but most of the good colleges take admission after conducting entrance exams. Those who get good rank get colleges. Hence you must be prepared for the entrance exam if you want to get a good college.

So you should start preparing for the entrances if you want to get a good college.

Getting a good college is very essential because your future will depend on the quality of education you get in the graduation.
