Does companies pay during internship?


I m a 3rd year telecom student. If i apply for internship i wanted to know that do these companies pay us for the duration for which we work for them

It is good to see that you are looking forward to internship after third year of engineering in telecommunications. Most of the companies pay the interns on successful completion of the project assigned to them. The stipend however, differs from time to time, project to project and company to company. It also depends on the success of the project assigned to you.

However, some companies also do not give stipend to its interns. Instead they only give certificate of experience and accomplishment of the project assigned to them.
