What is the important of internship? Why we need to do when we are in college?


I am a student from ECE department studying 3rd year.i am very much interested in core side. i want to know what is called an internship? Why we need to do? What is the importance of it? Will it be ok if I don't do the internship during my college?

* An internship is an opportunity offered by an employer to potential employees called inters to work at the firm for a fixed limited period of time.

* Most of the companies will select the candidate on the basis of technical knowledge. So by do internship during the college time candidate can gain more technical knowledge.

* It will also give the work experience in the company fr the student. So internship is more useful for the graduate students.
