Am I eligible to study PhD in Technology after completing M.Tech in Computer Engineering?


Sir,
I am studying M.Tech in NIT with the specialization of Computer Engineering. I would like to know that I am eligible to do PhD in Technology after my M.Tech course? Please reply as soon as possible.

You have completed M.Tech in Computer Engineering from NIT so you are eligible for Ph.D in computer science.

Candidates who have completed masters degree from a recognized university are eligible for Ph.D course. General and OBC candidates should hold 55% and above marks in masters degree. For SC/ST candidate its 50% and above in masters degree.

There is no age criteria. Your age should be below 28 years for JRF post.

But you must have valid GATE/ UGC NET/ CSIR NET score card.
