Am I eligible to study PhD in Zoology being a Microbiology student?


Respected Sir/Madam,
I did my M.Sc in Microbiology, but I am interested in doing my PhD in Zoology. Am I eligible for it or not? Please give the details if any.

You have done M.Sc in Microbiology so, you are eligible to study Ph.D in Zoology course, but you should qualify in UGC NET exam.

The UGC NET score card is essential for Ph.D course. Your master's degree marks must be above 55%.

There are no age criteria.

Sorry, you are not eligible for PhD in Zoology being a Microbiology student. The eligibility to study the PhD in Zoology is a pass in Master’s Degree in Zoology with 55% marks from a recognised university. So you can study PhD in Microbiology with your qualifications. The course is available in many universities like;
