Hi everyone, I am going to take admission in Pune University for doing PhD(Atmospheric Sciences) course. So, I would like to know that is it beneficial to do my PhD from this university? Please advice me.

Pune University is an UGC recognised university and PhD from the said university will be surely be valid. Just make sure you know what your career goal is and take decision based on it. PhD is a good option for only those who want to teach in colleges or schools.

Normally, those who are already teaching go for PhD option because it helps them to grow in their professional career. If you are a fresher then it would not be a good option to do PhD.
