Can I apply for UGC-NET(Environmental Sciences) if completed M.Phil in Environmental Technology and PG in Biotechnology?
Respected Members,
I've just applied for UGC NET with specialization of environmental sciences as of now I am doing PhD in environmental technology subsequently after M.Phil in environmental technology. Here my question is, my pg degree had on Biotechnology in which the concerned disciplinary (Environmental Sciences) not included so, am I eligible to write UGC NET in Environmental Sciences and in case if I qualified in UGC NET JRF or Lectureship what kind of problem would arise and will I get stipend in this circumstances. Please somebody help me. Thank you |

Yes, you can apply UGC NET exam in Environmental Technology.
NET stands for National Eligibility Test which is conducted twice time in year by UGC. Those candidates who have completed masters degree from a recognized university are eligible for NET exam. General and OBC candidates should hold 55% and above marks in masters degree. For SC/ST candidate its 50% and above in masters degree. Age criteria for NET exam:- For JRF Post :-Your age should be below 28 years. For Lectureship Post :-There is no age criteria. |

I am a student of mtech biotechnology with enviromental science. Am i able to sit for ugc ney witb enviromental science
