Re: Can students of ECE trade appear for GATE (Biotech) exam?
Yes, you can apply. GATE stands for Graduate aptitude test in engineering which is held by IIT's for admission to various post graduate courses.
The minimum eligibility criteria for applying GATE (Biotechnology) exam is that the candidate must have completed his graduation from engineering/ technology/ architecture/ pharmacy from a recognized institute/ university. |

Re: Can students of ECE trade appear for GATE (Biotech) exam?
Sorry, you can't apply for GATE Biotechnology subject because you don't have the required qualification according to the eligibility criteria. You are only eligible for Engineering subject for GATE. Hence, be prepared for your field subject only because you can only get admission in M.Tech of your stream only. Also, if you decide for job after GATE then also your B.Tech qualification will be analyzed before giving job.
