Clinical research is a new field in India and many clinical research organisations are already recruiting life science professionals in this field. It can be a good field because there is always research going on for new drugs for various diseases.

If you want to enter drug research field, then clinical research is the best option. Ph.D can be done afterwards, while gaining experience in the same field.
