Are Diploma in Pharmacy and Doctorate in Pharmacy same?


Are Diploma in Pharmacy and Doctorate in Pharmacy same? Tell me that which is better one? Please give me your answer in details not shot type.

No, Diploma in Pharmacy and Doctorate in Pharmacy are not same.

Applicant can pursue Diploma just after completing intermediate from recognized school.

Applicant must have complete minimum qualification of master degree in relevant subjects with minimum 50% to be eligible for PhD program.

Doctorate is equivalent to PhD course .

D. Pharma also stands for Diploma in Pharmacy is another different course in Pharmacy which is a 2 years course. This course focuses more on training students to work under supervision of a licensed pharmacist in hospitals or other pharmaceutical fields.

°°° No, these two courses are different courses as diploma in pharmacy is a diploma based course and doctorate in pharmacy is doctor of pharmacy which is a professional course.
The duration of diploma in pharmacy is 2 years and duration of doctorate in pharmacy is 6 years.
Diploma in pharmacy can be pursued after passing 12th standard with physics, chemistry, mathematics/Biology however doctorate in pharmacy is pursued after Masters course in pharmacy.

No, there are difference between Diploma in Pharmacy and Doctorate in Pharmacy. Pharm.D/PhD is Doctor of Pharmacy which is an integrated six (6) years Professional Pharmacy doctoral program. D. Pharm is a Diploma in Pharmacy is a two years Diploma course after 10 th class. The duration of the course is two (2) academic years.

--- Diploma in Pharmacy is a diploma course that has the duration of 2 years and Doctorate in pharmacy is a doctoral course which has duration of 6 years.
These are two different courses.
Diploma in pharmacy can be done after passing 12th with science stream and doctoral of Pharmacy is a course that can be done after masters degree.
