Candidates who have obtained a Master’s Degree in the concerned subject (Microbiology) with minimum 55% marks (50% for SC/ST candidates) or equivalent grade from a recognized university are eligible to study the PhD (Microbiology) in Barkatullah University. Candidates are admitted to the PhD (Microbiology) course through an Entrance Test and Interview conducted by the university. Candidates who have qualified national level test like NET / GATE and State level test like MPSLET or Teacher Fellowship holders or MPhil holders shall be exempted from appearing in the entrance test.
