Hi Sir, I want to study for a PhD(Mathematics) in IIIT Delhi. I just want to know about the eligibility criteria to pursue this course. So, please tell me about the eligibility criteria for applying in this course.

Eligibility to study PhD(Mathematics) in IIIT Delhi is as follows.

Applicant must have completed M.Tech/M.E/ M.Sc/MBA degree with minimum 60% marks or B.E/B.Tech with minimum 70% marks in relevant subjects.

Applicant will be selected through UGC NET/ GATE followed by interview.

The following Eligibility to study PhD(Mathematics) in IIIT Delhi :-

A.BTech/ MTech/ BE / ME in CS/ ECE/ Maths & CS and similar inter-disciplinary programs CGPA at least 7.5 on a scale of 10 (or equivalent).

B.If your institute does not provide CGPA in the transcript, then at least 70% marks are required to be eligible.

C.Candidates with MTech/ MS/ ME degree should also have same marks requirement at UG level.

D.MSc in Mathematics is also eligible for PhD in Mathematics who meets the following requirements: At least 70% marks in both B.Sc. and M.Sc.

E.Essential qualification (for Mathematics students)- JRF from either UGC or CSIR or NBHM or GATE qualified.
