Yes, of course you can do a PhD in Astrophysics after completing M.Sc in Physics. Here, I am providing you the eligibility criteria for PhD Astrophysics.

Eligibility Criteria:

Applicant must have completed Master degree or its equivalent qualification from a recognized university. It is mandatory the student must learn Physics, Applied Mathematics, Astronomy, Computer Science at graduate level course.

Those students who are already qualified in CSIR NET/GATE/UGC NET can directly apply for PhD admission in reputed college. There are so many universities in India which accepts CSIR NET/GATE/UGC NET score cards.

The student can get the application form from the respective university campus by paying the prescribed amount. The duly filled form should be submitted at the university admission office before the end date and the admission committee publishes a rank list on a merit basis.
