Re: How to do PhD in Electrical engineering through regular studies?
To do Ph.D in electrical engineering, you must be a post graduate in electrical engineering with atleast 55 percentage marks from recognised Indian institution.
To get admission at top research institutes like Indian institute of technology, Indian institute of Science, you must have either gate examination score or National Eligibility Test score. Gate examination is conducted by Indian institute of technology once in a year for all eligible engineers. It is an online examination. There is negative marking applicable. National Eligibility Test is conducted twice in a year by university grants commission for all post graduates. It is an offline examination held through out india. There is no negative marking applicable. |
