There is no limit on the number of attempt for NET exam.
One can appear for exam as many time as they desire .
To apply for the exam, candidate must have Masters degree from a recognised institution with atleast 50%- 60% marks.

You can apply for CSIR NET exam in unlimited time. If your age is over 28 years then you cannot apply for CSIR NET exam.

@ There are no such number of attempts available for appearing in CSIR NET Examination. Hence, you can appear for this examination as many times as you want.

@ Although there is no certain number of attempts applicable. But there is certain age limit which is 28 years. Hence you can appear for this Examination until you get 28 years.

@ For SC/ST/PWD category candidiates there is an age relaxation of 5 years. That means candidiates from SC OR ST OR PWD category candidiates can appear for this exam until they get 33 years.
