If you have completed M.Sc degree in Botany/Zoology/Life science or related subject then you are eligible for CSIR NET exam in Life science.

Those candidates who have completed masters degree from a recognized university are eligible for CSIR NET exam. General and OBC candidates should hold 55% and above marks in masters degree. For SC/ST candidate its 50% and above in masters degree.

Your age should be below 28 years.

You can apply CSIR NET exam in several times but your age must be below 28 years.

If you have the qualification then you can apply for it any number of times. There is no such limit mentioned in the notification of CSIR NET, therefore, you shouldn't worry about it anything and be prepared for the exam.

There is age limit for NET JRF which is 28 years. If you are looking for JRF then you should be below this age and there is no limit in attempts if you have the age. For NET Lectureship there is no age limit and you can apply for it any number of times.

Just make sure that you have got Master's Degree with 55% marks from a recognized University. There is 5% relaxation in marks available for reserved category candidates.
