You can apply for CSIR NET exam in unlimited time. If your age is over 28 years then you can not apply for CSIR NET exam.

Those candidates who have completed masters degree from a recognized university are eligible for CSIR NET exam. General and OBC candidates should hold 55% and above marks in masters degree. For SC/ST candidate its 50% and above in masters degree.

Your age should be below 28 years.

You can appear as many times as you want.

There are two satges in this:

>JRF
>Lectureship

For JRF you can apply till the age of 28 years.
But for Lectureship, you can apply any number of times as there is no age limit.

Minimum eligibility is Post Graduate in science subject with minimum 55% marks.
