hou much stipend i will get if i do my phd in english i mean to ask per month how much il get if i get qualify in the phd exam? Is there any stipend given for doing Ph.D or not? Can someone please give me the complete details on this soon?

Stipend or fellowship is only given to candidates who have got qualifications like NET/GATE/JRF. The fellowships are sponsored by UGC and only deserving candidates get it during there research programme. The fellowship for a research scholar is about 20k per month including DA, TA and HRA.

Normally, if you are able to get admission in a reputed university then you will definitely have chance of getting the stipend.

--> That is every PhD student should get 22500/- per month
--> UGC is providing those stipends to us
--> But you just have to score the CSIR or GATE or UGC exams
--> One more thing in private universities you may not get that much schol
--> So its better to join in Government institutions .
