After BTech in food technology can I do Doctorate in food related field directly or compulsory to do post graduation. Can I do Doctorate after btech I have heard it is possible via GATE but how I don't know, so explain in details.

Procedure to pursue Doctorate after B.Tech in Food Technology is as follows.

First of all you have to apply for GATE 2022 examination by visiting official website on August/ September 2021.

You have to choose subjects/branch related to food technology.

You will appear and crack GATE 2022 examination than you will go for counseling procedure of GATE examination to get admission.

You can also get direct admission on the basis of valid GATE 2022 score.

Eligibility:

1. The average score in GATE exam or other equivalent national exam is mandatory for students belonging to Non Centrally Funded Technical Institutes (CFTIs).
2. At least 8.0 CGPA out of 10.0.
3. Only the student studying in the final year of BTech/ BE can apply.
4. Well written SOP.

Eligibility:-

1. The candidates must complete their Master's in either Food Science and Technology or Food Technology from a recognized university.
2. The candidates must attain minimum 55% aggregate marks in Master's to become eligible for PhD Food Technology.
3. Admission to these courses are given either on the basis of merit or on the basis of performance in the entrance test.
