I am NET-LS qualified. Please give information to the phd entrance examination in the present year. what is the benfit of net in phd admission? Is it necessary to clear NET exam to get Ph.D admission? What is the use of NET exam for doing Ph.D? Can you please help me with the information?

You are UGC NET qualified so you are eligible for Ph.D course so you can apply for Ph.D course.

Yes, UGC NET score card is necessary for Ph.D admission.

NET stands for National Eligibility Test.

The educational qualification required for NET exam is masters degree from a recognized university with above 55% marks. 5% relaxation is given for SC/ST category candidates. Final year student are also eligible for NET exam.

There is no age criteria for NET exam but for JRF posts, your age should be below 28 years.
