Entry requirements

There are no formal entry requirements as suitability for the course will be determined upon
interview. All applicants will be invited to attend interview where full course information is given and you will be expected to complete an Initial Assessment.


The Master of Physiotherapy course provides a fast tract learning experience for talented students who already hold a bachelors degree, to gain knowledge, skills, attitudes and behaviors expected of an entry level physiotherapist. The course has a hybrid structure using curriculum (to
efficiently learn foundation knowledge) together with case studies and clinical practice (to integrate knowledge into clinical decision making). The course emphasizes evidence based practice and encourages students in critical thinking.

ADMISSION:

Ph.D Physiotherapy (Part Time) (Regular) Duration:
Minimum 3yrs.(Part Time) (from the date of initial registration)

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA (QUALIFYING EXAM)

a) Master’s degree in a relevant discipline with
55% marks in aggregate;

b) other conditions as prescribed in the Guidelines
for Degree of Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) programmes, Ph.D2014.

Duration of the course:

The duration of Masters of Physiotherapy (MPT) is 2
years full time with the medium of instruction being English.

MPT (cardiopulmonary)

Eligibility:

The candidates should have passed Bachelors in
Physiotherapy from a recognized University and Institution with at least 50%
marks.
