Possibility to pursue PhD(Mathematics) for MSc(Applied Mathematics) student?


Respected Sir/Madam, I am studying MSc in Applied Mathematics. This is my final semester. I have a query that after my this Post Graduation, I can study PhD in Mathematics not? Kindly tell me that is it possible for me?

You have completed M.Sc in Applied Mathematics so you are not eligible for Ph.D course in Mathematics.

Those candidates who have completed masters degree with above 55% marks from a recognized University with above 55% marks are eligible for Ph.D course.

But you should qualify in CSIR NET exam.

There is no age criteria for Ph.D course.
