Procedure to get admission in Gauhati University for PhD in English Literature?
Hello friends, I am studying in MPhil with English Literature. After my MPhil I want to do PhD in the same subject. Right now I am in my final year. I want to study my PhD in English Literature from Gauhati University. Can you please tell me the admission procedure and further details regarding admission?

Candidates have to apply online (CAP- Centralized Application Process) for the admission to study PhD in English Literature at Gauhati University. Candidates who hold a Postgraduate Degree of Gauhati University or any other recognized university in the relevant subject with not less than 55% marks are eligible to study PhD in English at Gauhati University. Candidates have to appear for the GU-RET (Gauhati University Research Eligibility Test) and Counselling for the admission to study PhD in English at Gauhati University. |
