Procedure to get PhD(Mathematics) admission in any reputed university of India?
Hello, I have done with my Post Graduation. Now I want to make my career in research field. So, I want to know that how can I get admission in PhD course in Mathematics? Also let me know about the colleges all over in India. I would like to do my PhD in any reputed college or university.

In order to get PhD(Mathematics) admission in any reputed university of India, you must have completed M.Sc. Degree in Mathematical or Physical Sciences with an aggregate of 55% marks from any recognized university to be eligible. Candidates who have passed B.Tech in any discipline are also eligible to pursue.
Candidates are selected for PhD(Mathematics) program based on valid score in CSIR NET/UGC NET for JRF or NBHM Screening Test. Candidates who have cracked Inspire Ph.D Fellowship are also eligible. Some Universities conduct their own entrance examination*for admission in Ph.D. (Mathematics) program. |
