Yes, you can definitely apply and appear in TIFR PhD entrance exam without pursuing M.Phil. According to the eligibility criteria laid down by TIFR, there is no need to pursue M.Phil in order to appear in the PhD entrance exam. Any student who have completed post graduation (M.Sc.) in Physics is eligible to appear in the TIFR PhD entrance exam. SO you can definitely appear in the PhD entrance exam. After the entrance exam, candidates will be shortlisted for the interview round based on scores in the entrance exam. After clearing the interview, you can get admission in the PhD course.
Do you have any question? or have anything to say?
