Tips to prepare and crack TIFR GS (PhD Entrance) Exam :-

- First of all you need to go through the entire syllabus of the concerned subject in which you are applying.
- The syllabus of the concerned subject can be availed by clicking here.
- You need to study every topic in detail. You should not skip any topic because of less interest or for being tough.
- Devote more time towards the topics which you feel tough.
- Devote more time towards effective study rather than simply stretching the study hours.
- Solve a variety of questions of different topics.
- Solve previous years' question papers of the concerned subject.

- Keep a revision time daily to revise the concepts and special problems completed in the previous days.
- Lastly be confident, calm and try to deliver your best.

Few tips to crack Ph.D entrance exam are as follows;-

Solve previous year question papers, that would give an idea of the range of questions being asked and also you will be able to know your weaknesses and strengths. After that you can work on your weaknesses and then move on.

Manage the time wisely during exam.

Be aware of marking system in the examination.

Take mock tests regular.

Go for coaching classes which offer coaching for Ph.d examinations such as VPM Classes, Vidya academy etc.,
