Re: Universities which offer PhD in Mathematics to a candidate who has secured 54% in M.Sc?
Normally, those who have less than 55% marks are not eligible for Ph.D admission in India. Only reserved category candidates are eligible with 50% marks for Ph.D admission after relaxation in marks. Hence, you can apply for admission only when you are a reserved category candidate.
You can get admission in following Universities in India 1. IISc, Bangalore, http://math.iisc.ernet.in 2. IIT Ropar, http://www.iitrpr.ac.in 3. BITS Pilani, http://www.bits-pilani.ac.in 4. University of Delhi, http://maths.du.ac.in 5. Indian Statistical Institute, http://www.isical.ac.in |
