Normally, those who have less than 55% marks are not eligible for Ph.D admission in India. Only reserved category candidates are eligible with 50% marks for Ph.D admission after relaxation in marks. Hence, you can apply for admission only when you are a reserved category candidate.

You can get admission in following Universities in India

2. IIT Ropar, http://www.iitrpr.ac.in

3. BITS Pilani, http://www.bits-pilani.ac.in

4. University of Delhi, http://maths.du.ac.in

5. Indian Statistical Institute, http://www.isical.ac.in
