What is the eligibility criteria followed for doing PhD in BioTechnology after BDS and BSc Microbiology?

Dear All,

Kindly update my information regarding eligibility for PhD in BioTechnology after BSc(microbiology Hons) and BDS course. Is a PG course must for students like me that have already completed BSc and now pursuing BDS for being eligible for consideration of PhD.

No, as per academic qualification you are not eligible for Ph.D in Biotechnology.

Those candidates who have completed masters degree from a recognized university with above 55% marks are eligible for Ph.D course.

There is no age criteria.

Sorry, you are not eligible for Ph.D as you don't have a post graduate degree in biotechnology. You need a post graduation degree in biotechnology or its related stream with at least 55% marks to become eligible for Ph.D admission.

You seem to have a bachelor degree only which will make you not eligible. Hence, you have to take admission in a post graduate degree course if you want to get admission in a Ph.D programme.

You can only opt for Ph.D course after having a PG degree and not by a mere Bachelors degree. Therefore I request you to opt for any PG course and score a minimum of 55% in your PG and then you will be very much eligible to pursue Ph.D course.
