State Level Eligibility Test (SLET) is being conducted to allow candidates to be selected as Professors/Lecturers in University. This is conducted by every state. This will be conducted in subjects you choose from available 27 subjects like,

• Life Sciences
• Mathematics
• Physical Sciences
• Biological Science
• Earth Sciences and more

Tips for Preparation:

• Note down every important point
• Make preparation timetable and follow it every day
• Practice previous papers after completing every chapter
• Make notes of every chapter
• Make notes of all important points of all chapters
• Make question papers by yourself, in order to check how much you know

First of all you must have Master's Degree in Life Science related subject with at least 55% marks from a recognized University to become eligible for SLET (State Level Eligibility Test). If you belong to SC/ST or OBC category then you can avail 5% relaxation in marks for SLET.

The exam is held twice in a year and you can appear for it in the month for June/December. This is usual time and may change according to the time. Hence, you have to keep track of the notification.
