::::::::::::::::::::SET stands for State Eligibility Test::::::::::::::::::::::::::

SET stands for State Eligiblity test and this examination is Accredited by U.G.C and conducted by Various State Universities Every year.

To apply for SET Examination, you have to complete your Post graduate degree course from a recognised University

You must have scored Minimum 55% Marks in your Post Graduation degree course, Final year appearing candidates are also apply for SET Examination.


SET is only eligible for being selected as lecturer and not for the award of Junior Research Fellowship (JRF).


Age limit ,should be above 19

SET stands for state eligibility test. This examination is taken by UGC.
The candidate should greater than 19 years.

SET stands for State Eligibility Test.

This exam is conducted by various colleges situated in Tamilnadu state for the selection of candidates for the admission in Under Graduation course in various subjects.

Since the exam is conducted by Colleges of Tamilnadu state so the name of entrance exam conducted is Tamilnadu State Eligibility Test (TSET).

TSET examination is Accredited by U.G.C and conducted by Tamilnadu state Colleges.

For applying for TSET exam you should have completed your Graduation in any stream from a recognized university and your age should be more than 21 years.
