Am I eligible to study Master Degree in Petrochemical/Petroleum Engineering being a BE(Civil Engineering) student? Distinction between Petrochemical and Petroleum Engineering?

Hello, I am a student of BE in Civil Engineering. I have decided to join Petrochemical in Master Degree or Petroleum Engineering. I would like to know that I am eligible for Post Graduation in Chemical/Petroleum Engineering? What are the differences between these two subjects?

Yes, you are eligible for some universities and not for some universities as you have done BE in civil engineering.

Petroleum engineering is a branch that deals with exploration and production of hydrocarbon reserves.

Chemical engineering is a branch that deals with the chemical aspects of hydrocarbon refining.
Do you have any question? or have anything to say?
