Am I eligible to study Master Degree in Geology/Geography being a B.E.(Chemical Engineering) student? Distinction between Geology and Geography?

Hello, I am a student of B.E. in Chemical Engineering. I am interested to become a Geologist. So, I have decided to join Geology in Master Degree or Geography. I would like to know that I am eligible for Post Graduation in Geology or Geography? What are the differences between these two subjects?

Yes, you are very much eligible for the Masters in Geography and Geology both.

Only a graduation degree is required for both of the courses mentioned.

The basic difference in both the subjects is :

* Geography is a wider term whereas Geology is a branch of Geography.

* You study many things in Geography, but only about earth in Geology.
Do you have any question? or have anything to say?
